SEED is based on a true story that occurred in 1972 Seattle, where there was a federal law that stated that a death row prisoner that survives three jolts in the electric chair is allowed to go free. Michael plays Detective Matt Bishop who arrested the insane mass murderer. Though it is an "extreme horror film" that will "redifine the genre," you will see Matt's deep love for his daughter (Jodelle Ferland), especially in his sea-blue eye. Michael told us, he liked the scene with Jodelle, just talking with their own words, 'cause Dr. Boll's computer erased the script and he decided to improvise the entire movie. Michael certainly looked to enjoy improvisation.
