I thank YOU, Michael, for YOUR support in return. I knew it before and
re-realized it when I joined the Tokyo gathering for the screening of Streets of Fire in Japan. Japanese fans really love Tom Cody as a hero of the rock'n roll fable. Surprisingly, the audience applauded
at the end of the movie. My Japanese friend was more surprised; it was
indeed a rare sight at theaters there, he said. I see how much they care
for Tom Cody. I also see how deeply Cody lives in their mind.

Do you remember the custom 1950 Mercury McCoy drove off at the end of STREETS OF FIRE?
Definitely you know that there were two cars for the filming. Do you know
that the cars are both owned by Japanese fans? Yes, it is true. One of
the owners has just published the story with pics of the custom car on their website.
Luckily, STREETS OF FIRE is currently at theaters, from this February to January 2012 all over
Japan. Cody is here in Japan 'cause we need him.

As a true fan of your movies I think I speak for everybody when I say that Eddie and The Cruisers 3 needs to be made. Its been 22 years since Eddie lived and the fans (myself
included) are chomping at the bits to get a third installment. I think
that would be a perfect project for you and Uwe to tackle next. I really enjoy his movies as well and it seems like you

Please go to see Lincoln Lawyer this week end. Brad Furman made a great movie from a great book by one of my favorite contemporary
authors. Which is so rare when you think of how many times you've said
" i think the book was better"..... That is not the case with
Lincoln Lawyer. Brad did the book justice.

What a nice surprise to see you in "Lincoln Lawyer". Great movie - loved it. Bob didn't make it but I would go back
and see it whenever he's available to go. Hope your family is doing well
- give them my love. Trevor is soon to graduate, stands about 6'3"
and is a great kid. Takes a VC night class twice a week and joined a great
gym. We are doing fine and maybe our economy will become better than it
has been this past year which would be even better.
