Michael,
have been a fan of your work for a good number of years. However, I must
admit, there are some things I haven't seen because of channel availability
or they are not played in my area. That's why those aren't checked off
below. Sorry. I guess that, by now, you are quite tired of hearing about
"Eddie & the Cruisers 1 & 2" and the possibility of there ever being a 3rd one. 18
years is a long time between sequels. I would like to aske a couple of
questions (I know that you don't answer these posts yourself).
1. Do you get to the East coast very often? (yes, not very often tho) I
would love to tell you in person how great I think your work is.
2. Your guitar work & rhythm was quite good in the "Cruisers" movies. Do you actually play? (yes) I'm a guitar player myseld
& I couldn't tell if you were faking it.
3. Did you do any of the singing in those movies or does John Cafferty's
voice sound that much like yours?
4. Where can I get the lyrics to those songs? I have searched & I can't
find the ones for "Runnin' Through the Fire". Please advise.
I pray that God Bless You & Keep You Well.

Hi Michael,
My name is Javier and I'm writing to you because I've been a fan of your
for the past 20 years. I first saw you in a movie with Faye Grant (I think
it was V). You are a great actor and have a great presence on film. Two months
ago I saw you in a war movie and your scenes were profound. I'll see your
next movie soon.
Have a great day,
Good luck, |

Hi Michael;
I've always thought you were a wonderful actor and extremely handsome.
I too loved Eddie & the Cruisers, but my favorite movie of yours is The Philadelphia Experiment. I was really disappointed that you were not in the second one! Looking
forward to your new movies!
The movie has been playing on VH1 Classic and brings back great memories
even though the movies takes place before I lived there.

Michael,
Loved Eddie & the Cruisers. I have a little extra admiration for the movie because I was fortunite
enough to have lived in Somers Point, NJ, on Bay Ave for 8 years in my
late 20s until mid 30's from 1991-1998. Loved the scenes in Somers Point
and Ocean City. I currently live in DE having moved around the country
for work.
The movie has been playing on VH1 Classic and brings back great memories
even though the movies takes place before I lived there.
Keep making movies!!

Hi Michael,
I'm not the only one who liked Eddie and the Cruisers on this site. I just watched the first one 2 nights ago and had to watch
the 2nd one last night. It makes me think of a time some 30 years ago when
I had my own band. Believe it or not, I'm trying to contact all the guys
in that band. The only one left is the lead singer. Thanks for bringing
back that memory. You played a great part in the movie. Do you play an
instrument or sing?
Good luck, |

Dear Michael,
I just watched Eddie and the Cruisers for the millionethhhh time and you excite me now as much as you did twenty
years ago. I went to see John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band sometime
ago and the whole time he sang I pictured you on the stage. You are truly
a talented actor and I hope to see much more of you in the future. Rock
on!!!,
Much love to you,

Welcome back, Michael!
I am glad to hear that the filming of 100 FEET went great. I like the way the club seems to follow the director's schedule
... until he says GO. Then Eric Red posted cool comments on you in 100
FEET starting with "Paré is astonishing." The best part follows - "Few actors in the world can generate
pure visceral emotion and physical presence like Michael can without a
word of dialogue, which is why I cast him as the Ghost." I'm knocked
out! |

Dear Michael Paré,
Great news! Really looking forward to see you in your new projects!
You're very busy and that's great, because it means, we'll see you in some
new movies-wonderful!
Besides all your movie work, do you think, there's any hope you'll work
in a show again? It would be very nice to see you back at the tv again.
Watching you in 'Houston Knights' and 'Starhunter' was fantastic and I'm sure all your fans would love to see you in a show
again!
Bye and take good care
Have fun at schooting your projects

Hi Michael,
I just returned from Fango Burbank, and we really missed you this year!
Jackie Tohn and Zack Ward did a great job with the panel for Uwe Boll's
movies, but it was not the same without your energy and wit. Both had kind
words about working with you.
After viewing the trailers for Postal and Blood Rayne II I am more anxious for the releases. I will just say the trailer for Postal had the audience laughing loudly.
Of course, your fans know how very busy you are and we wish you the very
best and say thank you.

Hi Michael,
I managed to buy a copy of your movie "Blackwoods" here in Australia and I watched it last night. Well done! I liked
your role in this movie and you did it so well! This is only the second
movie I have of Uwe Boll's, the first being Bloodrayne.
I do not understand why Uwe is treated so badly by the press, I was very
impressed with Bloodrayne and also now with Blackwoods. I am wondering if these people in the press actually take the time to
watch his movies anymore, or do they just bag him for the sake of it. I
think a mammoth effort was made by both yourself and Uwe. Keep up the good
work!

HI Michael,
I'm a 20 yr old and for the first time saw your movie "Eddie and the Cruisers" which was on in Austrlia over the Easter weekend. My mother told
me it was a must see movie. And i loved it, you were very good in it not
to mention you looked gorgeous too. The movie was a very good insight into
bands, their struggles and their music. I can't wait to see the 2nd one
and I have the sound track that is awesome. I hope to hear from you and
see more of your fantastic work.

Dear Michael,
I turned on the TV about two hours ago ready to sit down & watch a
DVD when I discovered Eddie & The Cruisers had just begun. It is one of my all time fave movies. Although it had
been about 10 years since I had last seen it, I remembered all the songs
and enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time I saw it. I have introduced
many of my favourite movies to my children & Eddie & the Cruisers was no exception. Despite their young age (7 & 9) & being actors
themselves, they enjoy movies from my youth more than those of today that
have many scenes reliant on computer generation. What a trip down memory
lane for me! Thanks for such an enjoyable afternoon,
Maureen
