Just wanted to thank you and all the cast of Eddie and the Cruisers for creating that time period back for us. The music and songs were so
reminiscent of that era and the words echo such lovely sentiments. I listen
to the soundtrack all the time and am always moved by it. Thanks again
for such a solid portrayal and looking forward to some new roles that I

You'll never guess, I was at the library the other day & showed your

I said you'd been in Eddie & the Cruisers, Hope Floats, and Streets of Fire. They didn't know them, but one asked if you were in a band (!) I thought
it was pretty funny because you seem to be pretty well known for the Eddie
parts, but maybe you look the part as well (ha) Enjoy Michael!

Hey Michael,
I have two grown sons, the oldest one is a fireman and a big fan of yours.
I had never seen the Eddie and the Cruisers movies until he told me about them a few months ago. Anyway he got me
the tapes and I am hooked on them, especially since I am a baby boomer
and was sixteen in 1963. The movie takes me back to a special time in my
life. Where I grew up we had a place like Tony Marts, in Arnolds Park,
Iowa, on Lake Okoboji, a big resort area in the summer. Also, my best friend
in high school name was Eddie, and he played in a band with his uncles,
so you know we had some fun. I have also watched Philadelphia Experiment and Streets of Fire and trying to find other movies of yours. I think you are a very good
actor. I hope this finds you and your family well and happy. Oh my son
told me he also has the CD to both of the Cruisers movies. Thanks for giving
this old man a lot of enjoyment in my retiremnet.

Hey Michael,
How are you! I am sitting in an Audi showroom in Philadelphia (I'm the
general mgr.) and reminiscing about the old days with my sales crew - and
your name came up. Everyone was familiar with who you were, and talked
about "Eddie and The Cruisers" and "Streets of Fire" etc. They couldn't believe I knew you. There was some question about
other movies you were in, and I spontaneously pulled up this website on
my computer. I can remember sitting with you in your brother's apartment
in Peekskill NY, before you became famous. You were working as a short
order cook in NY City then, I believe. "Rich Man, Poor Man" was
playing on TV and I told you that you reminded me somewhat of Nick Nulty.
I also suggested you get into the movies. I was also an usher in your brothers
wedding. I was the short Italian kid with the big mustasche. I'm real proud
of all your hard work and success. I wrote the novel "The Closer's
Song" under the pseudonym Christopher Cole. My website is www.geocities.com/closerssong/homepage.html.
I never thought back then that I would end up selling luxury cars, for
the next thirty plus years,or that you would have become a movie star!
I'm real excited about seeing you in "The Furnace" and "Dark World". The best of luck!

Hi Michael,
I was just having a break in between doing household chores and decided
that i would look your website up and found it quite interesting.
I also wanted to let you know that i am a big fan of Eddie and the Cruisers 1 and 2. I have got Eddie and the Cruisers on video and the second Eddie Lives on DVD and have both the soundtracks which on occasions i play them in
my car or at home as they are quite enjoyable.
You are a very talented actor and i hope to be seeing more of your acting
in future years.

Dear Michael,
We watched the Channel 4 web site - that's Green Mile's prison, with a
bit concern about asbestos. Our expectations are high-high-high for The Furnace. We liked the style of William Butler. Ja Rule is our fav, too.
Certainly, you'd better be away from ... ya, you know.

Dear Michael,
Okay, we registered at the forum only for you, Michael but need to be brave
enough. As our concierge says, we all understand you might not be able
to visit the forum because of your hard schedule, though. We also understand
your first priority. You're always such a nice person to take care of fans
like us.
We, the Florida branch of the club, gather at Gary's place and are waiting
for your arrival!

Dear Michael,
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Michael. These photos on the set of The Furnace all taken by that Adam Taylor - his Capote photos are great - are just
terrific. Especially I love the shot of you alone (elegant!) and the romantic
one with the female lead. I should thank the club for the real time report
of this movie, because it only comes out by such a wonderful relationship
between Michael and fans. I am very proud to be a member of this club.

Dear Michael,
I have been a fan for since Greatest American Hero. Eddie and the Cruisers and Streets of Fire are our favorites. I read somewhere a long time ago of your Michigan background.
I also heard you attended for a short while Lake Fenton High School in
Fenton, MI. Well I am a grad of that same school. I know that was say a
few years before you but how great it was to hear that. Is this true information?
Also, I am looking forward to your next project. I know it will be good.
You bring a unique presents to anything you do. Thanks for all you've done.

Wow, You have Not Aged a day since Eddie and the Cruisers. What's your secret for that? I'm in My 20's and there are guys my age
not anywhere nearly as good looking as you! Your Hot!! I Just Saw Eddie
and the Cruisers on DVD, It's a great movie, and you're a great actor.
Would it ever be remade or put on Broadway? A lot of people my age aren't
aware of it, or you, you should get yourself recognized in the younger
generation, you still look good enough to! By the way Did you wear brown
Contact Lenses in Your Cold Case Episode? Good Luck to you, and I hope to see you in more Movies soon.

Hi Mike,
I just wanted to say I saw you on Vine near Hollywood boulevards, in Hollywood,
yesterday (2/3/06). You were standing outside, on the sidewalk, wearing
a suit, and holding a script. It look as if you were getting ready to go
in and audition for a film and I have to tell you, I found it inspiring.
I know there are several casting directors in that building too. My name
is Paul Henderson, I am an actor, writer, and comic. I have been here in
Hollywood since 1988, slowly plugging away. I've been to auditions in that
same building over the years. I found it inspiring that someone like you
who's been in the business as long as you have, and as well known as you
are, you're still out there kicking down casting director's doors.
Most people don't understand how difficult it is to just be a working actor.
I don't know why but I found it inspiring to see you preparing to go show
your talent in person after so many films and TV shows under your belt.
I'd love to know what you were auditioning for. Keep up the good work.

Dear Michael,
I came home early from the office and Eddie and the Cruisers II was on. As I sat and watched it, I was amazed again, at your talent. I
miss the music, there isn't anything like it right now. Thanks for taking
me back. I look forward to seeing you in something new. On a whim, I discovered
this great web site. I don't recall writing a fan letter since I was sixteen,
but you're definitely worth it. I recall, the first movie I saw you in
was The Philadelphia Experiment. You were so great in it. Good luck in your future endeavors.

My ex husband and I first saw you when one of his friends watched "The Philadelphia Experiment" and called him to tell him to watch this actor who looked just like
him.
We loved the movie, and I've been following your career ever since. I fell
asleep last night with the TV on and woke up this morning to Eddie and the Cruisers II, which was a nice way to wake up.
I hope you continue acting, because you have a great talent.
I wish you well in all of your future endeavors.

Again and again I realized how wonderful you are. This time I was with
"ThatMom" when we first met at the fan meeting. I never expected
that Michael showed up 'cause I believed the words from the Club, "Don't
expect it - his first priority is acting." But Michael, you were so
kind to take your time for us. I felt as if I rediscovered you as a very
talented actor and at the same time I was captivated by you, your voice
and your personality. A millions of thank you, Michael. I am very proud

It's nice to see, that you're working at new projects. Hope, we can see
you really soon in more new ones. I'm since years a fan of you and your
movies.
As a big fan of daily soap 'Bold and Beautiful', I thought about, how nice
it could be to see you in such a show, too.
You would be great playing one of the guys. And for your fans it would
be a dream to see you every day on tv.
Who knows, what future will bring......?
See you and take care

Dear Mike,
I got to see South Beach today. You are so fun to watch.
I was exploring around your site the other day & discovered like the
second shot from the New Years photo on the Japanese site. That was a lot
of fun. I made a copy to put on my wall, along with what you said about
the CAT! (Ha!) Cats can see pretty well in the dark you know. I wonder
if puppies can. The cat could meow & the puppy could follow by ear.
(Listening intently, making sure not to squeak his chew toy)**
Flash caught a mouse once & it was all dark. (Talented!)
He sends his meow.
Be sure to have fun!

Dear Michael and the Club!
I needed some time to post this, because I have been in the seventh heaven
since I first met MICHAEL!!!!! It was the very best moment I've ever had
in my life. First, I couldn't believe it. Who else could believe it?
Michael, you walked to us. No, it's not true, he walked to ME to extend
his warm welcome, with that killer smile. And then he flashed a shy smile.
It was like my-dream-come-true. I could hear his velvet voice and could
even catch the same delicious breeze that touched his soft flowing locks.
He looked so happy with us. He gave us a wonderful surprise. How sweet
he was!
Thank you, thank you, Michael and thank you for the Club who arranged this
dream opportunity! I again realized how much Michael trusted our club.
I am very proud to be a member!

Dear Mr. Michael Pare!
A few days ago, I had the luck, that I could watch 'Crash Landing' and seems so, that in a few weeks 'Gargoyles' will be released here, too.
I'm looking forward to watch it, too. I like your work, but until now you
never played in a romance or romantic comedy. I'm sure, you would be great
in it and so I hope so much, that really soon, you'll play in such kind
of movie. And if you would play besides my fave actress Sandra Bullock,
a dream would come true!
I wish you all the best for the future and I'll cross the fingers!
Blessings

I found myself here whilst searching the net for current pics of Michael
Pare. I just watched "Streets of Fire" with my daughter who is 13 years old.....I too saw it for the first
time when I was just 13 and watched it many times as a teenager. I recently
purchased a copy on DVD and am happy to say I enjoyed it just as much watching
it today at 34 years of age as I did back then. The movie transcends time,
the music is still fantastic and WOW, Michael Pare is still devastatingly
handsome. Along with 'Streets of Fire' I was a big fan of 'Eddie and the Cruisers' and will be looking out for Michael's current film and television work.
I feel a tad silly posting this message but I thought it might be fun to
say how much I've enjoyed Michael's films and that he now has another fan,
from another generation from the beautiful land 'Down Under'.
Cheers,

Dear Mike Paré,
I recently got to see you on Bloodrayne & South Beach. That was so neat; recent stuff, looked fantastic (!) I thought you with
a moustache was just supurb! Nice voice.
I'm glad you're going to do an interview on Dark World. That movie sounds cute.
I thought the kitty cat you were holding in this years first picture was
very cute. I have a russian kitty cat candle holder, all brave & stuff.
Did you really shoot The Philadelphia Experiment in Nevada & California? Going all over to do films must be fun, Russia,
Hawii, Romania. (Yow!)
Well keep up the good work & God bless you.

Hi Michael,
I have been a fan since gosh, probably about 1990. My first memory of you
was when I stayed up late one night when I was at my grandparents' house
and watched The Last Hour...OMG, I was soooo in love with you. You're my mom's age so that's a little
wierd now, but I went through a phase where I watched everything you were
in. Probably shouldn't have with all those love scenes and being so young,
but I had something to hope for when I got old enough to do those things...lol
Anyway, I still love to watch you in movies...even in Hope Floats...I so hated you were the bad guy, but it's okay, you were still good
to look at...still are. You're so handsome, more so than alot of actors
your age. I'm 28 and still think you're so great!!!!
Finding this site has reassurred my interest in finding a copy of The Last Hour...impossible it seems, but I'll find it. Something to always remember
the first time I saw you. You rock!!! Keep on makin' movies and I'll keep
on watchin'!
Much Love...

Hi Michael,
I've always been a fan of "Eddie & The Cruisers" 1 & 2. I think you were brilliant in both of them. I wish you
could have gone on and done one more. I've thought of a dozen different
ways to end "Eddie & The Cruisers-Eddie Lives". It would have been really fun to see more of a reaction that "Eddie
Lives" from the other actors at the end....I have watched both movies
over and over and over. I think you are terrific and I wish you the best.
