Dear, Michael,
I watched Starhunter II and strongly felt that the show was missing something
very special, that's you! The chemistry between Dante and Percy was not
found with other guys, meaning the good part was completely lost in Season
II. If you were in, I'd have kept watching but once was enough for me without
you. I hope you return the show in the very near future. |

I saw Eddie and The Cruisers when I was 11 years old. Michael Pare became
my first "crush". I fell in love with the movie and have loved
it ever since. I think you are a fantastic actor. I remember your tv series
(Houston Knights I think it was called) and what a great show it was. I
wish you would do another prime time tv series again. I always see every
movie you make. Another great point, you havent changed looks wise in all
the years I have known of you. Its amazing! I think you must have a picture
of yourself thats aging somewhere like Dorien Gray because you still look
25. You are the best, thanks for being great. |

Dear Michael:
My wife and I frequently watch both Eddie and the Cruiser movies. We are
both avid music fans and these movies captivate, enhance our romantic moods.
We've got a copy of both... Why can't the studios make the Eddie Lives
available on DVD now? We've got several of your movies, enjoyed the work
that you've shared in your career! I don't make a habit of writing the
"stars", but I have searched tirelessly hoping someday to find
Eddie lives on DVD. My 4 children feel the same about your work! Eddie
Lives has been particularly inspiring to my 14 year old sax player too.
THANKS! |

Hello Michael.
Bleiben Sie
gesund und munter. |

Greetings from Finland. I like your films very much. Too bad that only
a few of your films are available on DVD with European code etc. and can
be purchased directly from stores. I hate using my credit card. You were
my boyfriend to be. I never got to meet you so I became a lesbian :) |

My childhood wasn't an easy one, (divorce -- and all that jazz), but I
found solace in music and films. I've been an admirer of your career since
the TV Series Greatest American Hero, and as a cult classic I have always
enjoyed the Cruiser movies, and all up to the present and own nearly all
of your films. My first adolescents crush was at 11 when I seen my first
band, his name was Julian and although I was a mere child in his eyes,
I never forgot him. I guess I felt his pain. You looked so much like him
as the character Eddie in the Cruisers, same broody look, and all those
feelings rushed back. Now in my mid-forties, those are fond memories, and
I appreciated that blast from the past in the 80's. You are good at your
craft and your characters are so believeable, please continue to make movies/TV
series/Theatre. Thank you for bringing decades of joy into my life. I'm
glad you're a good father to your son, I know he must be your greatest
achievement. |

WoW!! I was 11 when "Eddie and the Cruiers" came out. I fell
in love. I'm 31 now, JUST finished watching "Eddie Lives", I
had forgotten how handsome you really are. I had to find the web site to
let you know that those movies will always be 2 of my all time favorites!
Thank you for sharing your gift! |

What I would like to see is a Eddie and The Cruisers special edition DVD
with commentary by you and Martin. I would love to hear some inside stories
of the film. I have been a fan of the film since '84 and I am never tired
of it. It helped me to strive to be a musician myself. Even though it is
a fictious band and Cafferty is doin all the music. Lastly, one question.
If the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducts Eddie and The Cruisers (disclaimer,
even though it is fictious), will we see a cast reunion? |

When I was growing up I didn't have a father figure My Father was an alchoholic
and I was raised by my mother..My way of getting away was through make
believe so I dreamed of becoming an actor..One day I saw this gutsy sweet
dispositioned character in Steeets of Fire.. Tom Cody That's when I found
my hero...It went on to Eddie and the Cruisers ..The Phillidelphia Experiment
...I'm 28 years old now and living in the New York area persuing my acting
dream....And I now realize How much of an impact Michael Pare has been
in my life...You have given me the courage to dream and the strength to
know even I can be a hero.. I have only 2 heros James Dean And Michael
Pare. It's too late to meet James Dean ..But I know your still out there
Michael.... Some day I'd like to shake my heros hand ..Thank you Michael
Pare for giving me "the ultimate Hero" ...thank you, www.Todd

I hope you have a healthy New Year! For Christmas I got "Streets of
Fire" and I love it. I can't find "Eddie and the Cruisers 2;
Eddie Lives". I love the first one and I know every word. All of the
stores say that they have stopped making it like they send it out one movie
at a time. I can't wait to see you this year in MANY new movies because
there are very few actors with your kind of talent and I admire it so.
If you know where I could possibly get it could you please post it at the
top of the page? Thank you and God bless!!!!!!! P.S. This web site is very
good , but it would be better if it had more pictures of you! |
